To reduce the impact of your journey, we recommend travelling by train to Bologna Centrale station, connected by high-speed rail to the rest of Italy and 19 km from the Resort. From there, our shuttle service will take you to the Resort, on request.

By plane
Guglielmo Marconi International Airport (BLQ) is 11 km from the city centre and 30 km from Palazzo di Varignana. You can also reach the Resort from the airport with our shuttle service, on request.
A private airfield 10 km from the Resort is available for turboprop, propeller and jet aircraft and helicopters of all categories.

A14 Ancona-Bologna motorway: exit at Castel San Pietro. Turn left towards Via Emilia until the Castel San Pietro junction. Turn right towards Bologna and continue along Via Emilia for about 8 km. Follow the signs for Varignana on the left, go through the historic centre of Varignana and follow the signs for the Resort.
A1 Milano-Bologna motorway: exit at San Lazzaro di Savena and take the first exit of the ring road, following the signs for the “complanare” (parallel road). Take the last exit and keep left at the roundabout. Continue to the next roundabout and take the third exit. At the second traffic light turn right and continue until you reach a small bridge on the left: turn left and follow Via di Varignana up to Via Cà Masino.

During your stay
Leave your car in the car park: within the estate, our electric caddies will take you around. You can explore the hills by bike or e-bike, available to guests, or on foot along the trails through olive groves and vineyards, which you can find on Komoot and Outdooractive.
