Our Journey with Pristine Mood

A Growing Awareness

In an era where the word sustainability is often used lightly, we believe it's essential to pause and ask ourselves: what does it truly mean to be sustainable today?

It’s not just about implementing good practices. Nor is it about listing achievements, numbers, or certifications.
The real challenge is more subtle—it’s about awareness. That inner quality that urges us to recognize our impact, even when it’s not immediate, to ask uncomfortable questions, and to understand the value of limits.

This is the spirit behind our decision to join Pristine Mood, the sustainability program created by Serandipians, the international community of luxury travel designers committed to promoting a refined, responsible, and conscious way of traveling.
The initiative was designed to guide high-end hospitality brands through a concrete, transparent, and transformative sustainability journey.

In 2024, Palazzo di Varignana officially joined the program as a Seeding Member, the first step in a path that is not only operational but, above all, cultural.
We have identified 70 CSR actions to be implemented by October 2026. Some are simple adjustments to our daily routines; others require a shift in mindset. But they all have one thing in common: they cannot be outsourced.

Because sustainability doesn’t work in silos.
It’s a way of thinking—one that should be present in every gesture and every decision.
From natural resource management to the way we welcome our guests, from landscape care to internal relationships, sustainability is not a status to achieve, but a direction to keep alive.

Pristine Mood provides us with a framework that is both rigorous and inspiring—a network for dialogue and growth, and a structured vision that helps us translate our values into tangible actions.
We are aware of how complex this path can be. But it’s precisely this complexity that reassures us we are on the right track.

We are proud to be part of this journey—not because we’ve arrived, but because we deeply believe in the value of the process.

And if some steps take longer than expected, we don’t see that as a failure. We see it as a natural part of an authentic journey—one made of listening, adapting, and moving forward with consistency.

Our commitment is this: to grow, every day, with awareness.
