Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic
The Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic is one of the most renowned Italian orchestras. Named after the well-known conductor from Parma, since 2012 it has been the artistic partner of the Verdi Festival in Parma. Its prolific concert activity takes place at the Paganini Auditorium in Parma and extends to the newly-created Toscanini Festival. Thanks to its numerous national and international performances, the company has appeared on billboards around the world with concerts unanimously celebrated by audiences and critics alike. Francesca Dego, Salvatore Accardo's most brilliant pupil, is today one of the most sought-after young violinists on the international scene. The winner of numerous competitions, in 2008 she was the first Italian violinist in 47 years to reach the final of the "Paganini" Prize in Genoa and was awarded the special "Enrico Costa" prize reserved for the youngest finalist. Alessandro Cadario is a well-established orchestra conductor on the international scene. An appreciated composer and brilliant orchestrator, Cadario is also a violinist and the conductor of the Hebel Chamber Choir which he founded. Since 2016 he has been the Lead Guest Conductor of the Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra in Milan.
