Borin, Borgioni, Bizzarri
Elena Borin made her debut in 2000 with Mozart’s Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro. The breadth of her vocal skills led her in the following years to perform in many roles of the late-romantic repertoire, including Nabucco, Aida, Il Trovatore, Carmen, and Adriana Lecouvreur, in prestigious theaters such as the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the Verona Arena. Tenor Valerio Borgioni made himself known in the opera scene by winning the 8th International Competition “Anita Cerquetti” in 2018. After performing in pieces such as La Traviata and L'Elisir d’amore, in 2022 he played the role of the Earl of Leicester in Mary Stuart at the Sydney Opera House. An elegant conductor and a fine connoisseur of the operatic repertoire, Lorenzo Bizzarri will blend the voices of the artists with the Chorus and Orchestra of the Varignana Music Festival, the official line-up of the event. Bizzarri was the former assistant of Zubin Mehta and performed alongside world-famous artists such as José Cura, Eva Mei, and Placido Domingo.
